![]() If you plan on backtracking as you get each new Disintegration Ring, the needed rings are all mentioned in the checklist.ĥ. Earth while you’re outside the Calnus but before you go into the facility once you go inside the facility, there’s no way to return outside.Ĥ. This includes inn rooms, the odd house (such as Ghimdo’s in Triom and the Black Tribe tent), and the bar in Tatroi. ![]() Investigate every room in every town thoroughly. Basically, if what you acquire is followed by experience and party SP, it'll count.ģ. Flashing items on the ground such as the Fol in Astral’s item shop, the Fol in the coliseum near the entrance to the Seven Stars Dungeon, and the Philosopher’s Tome quest do not count toward this total. As long as you mark off the ones you get, you’ll be fine.Ģ. You certainly won’t open them in the same order as me, and I wouldn’t expect you to. However, the chests themselves are listed in the order that I opened them. I’ve posted the locations in the order they occur in the game. There are several notes to consider before you get started:ġ. Every chest has been counted for a total of 404, and each opened chest gives you 0.2475% towards the total. This proves that this list is complete, and that it’ll definitely help you in this excruciating quest. ![]() I also compared my results to the one posted by The Pants Party here to make sure it's accurate. ![]() To that end, I’ve compiled a complete checklist while working to get the achievement at the same time. Certain chests are only accessible during certain parts of the story these will be highlighted in the checklist as they occur. This is difficult because the chests are very easy to miss and/or overlook. The one achievement that always drives me insane is ‘Treasure Hoarder’, where you need to open 100% of all chests in the game. You’d think it would be ‘Ethereal Executioner’ or ‘Ultimate Battler’, but to me, it’s neither of those. One of the most annoying achievements to acquire in Star Ocean: the Last Hope is also one of the most unassuming. ![]()
